Each part, and its verse

  1. 01

    Sudarśana Chakra

Set into motion by the Supreme Personality of Godhead and wandering in all the four directions, the disc of the Supreme Lord has sharp edges as destructive as the fire of devastation at the end of the millennium. As a blazing fire burns dry grass to ashes with the assistance of the breeze, may that Sudarśana cakra burn our enemies to ashes.

    Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 6.8.23

  2. 02

    Kapi-dhvajaḥ

    Sign of victory.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, purport to Bhagavad-gītā 1.20

  3. 03

    Meteoric Alignment

A meteor falling in the same direction as an advancing force is held to signify victory. Here, its rightward descent, aligned with the wind and the march of Śrī Hanumān, reflects auspiciousness and divine favor.

    Bṛhat Saṁhitā 33.30

  4. 04

    Indradhvaja

The unobstructed rightward motion of the flag (Dakṣiṇāvarta), as an indicator of auspiciousness, and victory.

Bṛhat Saṁhitā · Indradhvaja-lakṣaṇam; Mahābhārata, Udyoga Parva 5.81.24

  5. 05

    Athāto Brahma Jijñāsā

The higher consciousness of human life naturally leads to inquiry into the Absolute Truth — the origin of creation and the Supreme Reality. Under the vast night sky, such contemplation distinguishes man from the animals. This wisdom, received through disciplic succession — "evaṁ paramparā-prāptam evaṁ rājarṣayo viduḥ" — is understood by the rājarṣis, the great ṛṣis, the munis and ācāryas.

    Śrīla Prabhupāda, purport to Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.1.1 and Bhagavad-gītā 4.2

The Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra

The sixteen names ĀRK is dedicated to, sung in this order by the tradition these texts come from.

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

The Sudarśana Chakra, the kapi-dhvaja, the meteoric alignment, and the Indradhvaja together stand as signs of victory, protection, and divine sanction. Wherever there is Kṛṣṇa, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion.
