§20.1 Editorial custody and peer review
Four commitments, stated so that failure to keep them is visible from outside.
§20.2 The public challenge and errata mechanism
Any scholar who identifies a grammatical error, a variant reading, or a misattributed citation may submit a formal challenge against the corresponding URN. Validated disputes are recorded in the Open Register (Appendix D) with both readings stated, and the challenge and its resolution are addressable at L07.
Challenges are answered on the merits. Per §4.2, the qualification of the objector is never a response to an internal objection — one that says a reading contradicts a sūtra, that a derivation is not supported by the grammar, that a commentator does not say what we claim, or that a citation cannot be located. Invoking adhikāra against such an objection is failure mode M12 and is treated as one in review.
