Twenty-six entries. Each is a specific, actionable research task, not a general aspiration. The register is public because a methodology document that listed only its strengths would be violating its own §0.4. Per rule G-02 it is expected to grow before it shrinks.

1. Quarantined passages (Grade C and D)

These may not be used as load-bearing proof until located in printed editions. Every one of them is cited somewhere on this surface as illustration only, and no conclusion depends on any of them.

IDItemWhat would close it
D-03trayo 'rthāḥ sarva-vedeṣu — chapter and verse untraced (§5.1)Location in a printed Skanda Purāṇa edition, or identification of the actual source.
D-04Bhallaveya-śruti passage known only by citation (§6.3)Nothing can fully close this; the śākhā is not extant. Task: enumerate the earliest citing sources and their variants.
D-12CF-06 verses: source untraced; earlier Padma/Kūrma attribution withdrawnIdentification of work and chapter. Until then the file remains illustrative only.
D-14Rādhā-tantra karṇa-śuddhi passage (CF-07)Location in a printed edition.
D-15Ādyā-stava: viṣṇu-bhakti-pradā durgā (CF-07)Location in a printed edition; identification of the stava's own textual history.
D-17Skanda Purāṇa 1.2.20.66–70 locator (CF-08)Collation; the Skanda's recensions diverge substantially.
D-22Garuda Purāṇa 3.24.44–45 locator (§7.3)Collation across recensions; the Garuda's internal numbering is not stable. Graded conservatively under C-03 as a convenient citation.
D-23Bharadvāja Saṁhitā 2.1.79 locator (§7.3)Location in a printed Pāñcarātra edition. Tier T6 regardless of outcome — not authoritative on tattva against T1–T4.
D-24Padma Purāṇa Uttara-khaṇḍa 236.18–21, the guṇa classification (§10.4)Collation; chapter numbering varies between recensions.
D-27Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 11.21.36, as circulated (§2.3)Collation against a printed edition of canto 11, chapter 21 (Kṛṣṇa's reply to Uddhava on sāṅkhya and the guṇas). The verse is widely cited but unlocated at that address.

2. Active philological and doctrinal disputes

IDItemWhat would close it
D-01Paramparā verification is not formalisable (§3.2)Nothing currently proposed. Recorded as a genuine limit of the chain-of-custody analogy, not as a task.
D-05Madhva's Nirukti not independently attested (§7.4)Assessment of each load-bearing derivation against standard Nirukta, one at a time.
D-07Which Ṛgvedic Indra sites fail the S2 test (CF-01)Systematic pass over all Indra hymns with S1–S3 recorded per site.
D-08The pūrvapakṣa reply to the accounting argument in CF-03A fair summary of the pūrvapakṣa treatment, published as a pūrvapakṣa node.
D-09Baladeva on the Śvetāśvatara passages (CF-04)Locate and assess in the Govinda-bhāṣya; would move CF-04 from B toward A.
D-10ŚvU 3.4 variant viśvādhiko rudraḥ śivo maharṣiḥCollation of printed editions and manuscript witnesses.
D-11The Nṛsiṁha reading of the Tryambaka mantra (CF-05)Determine whether any Mādhva or Gauḍīya commentator makes this identification independently.
D-13VS 2.2.42–45: numbering and target vary by school (CF-07)Comparison of the adhikaraṇa across Śaṅkara, Madhva, and Baladeva, published as a table.
D-16The Śākta metaphysical argument in CF-07 is unansweredSubstantive engagement with the inseparability thesis, not further citation.
D-18Devī-Māhātmya recension history (CF-08)The same philological pass applied to the passage that tells against us, in the same programme.
D-19The theistic/atheistic Sāṅkhya relation (§11.3)Stated as a historical claim; would require textual argument we have not made.
D-21Aitareya-bhāṣya sarvaghoṣāḥ locator (§7.2) — the keystone citation of §7.6 width 3Collation against a printed critical edition of Madhva's Aitareya Upaniṣad Bhāṣya. This is the highest-priority item in the register: it is the single citation on which the widest form of the doctrine rests, and it is currently Grade B for want of a collated locator.

3. Withdrawals, errata, and the collation programme

Per rule G-04 corrections are dated and not silent. The following readings were published in earlier drafts of this surface and have been withdrawn; both states remain addressable.

D-25 · CF-02: the gloss assigning the four horns to the four Vedas and the seven hands to the seven metres was published unattributed. It is not Patañjali's and we have not located it in a named commentator. Withdrawn under N4 pending a source.
D-26 · CF-05: the gloss of tryambaka as “having the three Vedas as His eyes” was published without attestation. Withdrawn under N2/N4 pending a source.
D-12a · CF-06: the attribution of the self-testimony verses to the Padma Purāṇa and Kūrma Purāṇa could not be substantiated and was withdrawn. Supplying a plausible source for an untraced citation is failure mode M08.
D-08a · CF-08: the resolution of the two Mahiṣāsura narratives by kalpa-bheda was withdrawn as failure mode M18. No located source assigns the two narratives to different kalpas, so the appeal supplied the datum in dispute.
D-20 · No full collation programme exists. This is the largest item in the register. Every Grade-C entry above is downstream of it.
